Value-meaningful conceptualisation of educational material in the process of foreign language teaching at the university: A hermeneutic approach

Introduction . One of the main tasks teaching foreign languages for professional purposes is formation communicative competence students. In this regard, it important university teachers to create conditions students master methods and techniques productive communication, not only from perspective language culture, but also their future profession. addition logical rational aspect, pedagogical focus on value semantic significance educational information, deeply understand rather than memorise be emotionally “engaged” into knowledge, filling with personal meaning, in order avoid formal mastering This possible context conceptualisation acquired which carried out process interpreting structuring content training by principle linguistic concept. Aim. The present research aims substantiate content, methods, forms meaningful material Methodology are based study value-semantic foundations practice reference cultural-historical concept; phenomenological-hermeneutical approach, aimed at actualisation interpretive potential content; utilisation theoretical analysis synthesis, deduction induction, comparison, modelling, inclusive observation. empirical was conducted during one academic year (from September 2020 June 2021) course “English Specific Purposes (ESP)” 60 Pedagogical Education major University Tyumen. To assess results experimental work following tools were used: L. Michelson’s test, free associative experiment, method expert evaluation level scale developed authors. Results. obtained data confirmed effectiveness learning according concept image. final test skills, most demonstrated a confident command basics communication English. Compared initial stage study, students’ English became more productive. Students’ statements distinguished meaningfulness, structure. They used additional other fields emotional coloring form metaphors, idioms, famous teachers, precedent texts, ability improvise, etc. Scientific novelty authors didactically proved productivity hermeneutic approach design basis concept, mediating link between scientific hand, individual consciousness subjective experience students, hand. Practical significance. can achieve balance technological axiological aspects cognitive activities experience, will ultimately contribute enhancement educators.
